The Charity's Bristol Regional Office has been helping people with disabilities in Bristol, Bath and surrounding area since 1986. All offices (14 in the UK including Birmingham and Cardiff) offer a free service to all disabled people and prospective employers.
Clients with a wide range of disabilities receive a primarily practical programme of intensive, person to person careers preparation, involving advice, support and guidance.
E Opps is an Approved Provider for the Employment Service and helps many clients through The Work Preparation Programme (ie monitored unpaid work experience) and WORKSTEP (ie supported employment).
This regional office had a bumper year in 2000, helping significantly more people with disabilities into work than in 1999.
We saw a rise of 37% in the number of people with disabilities we helped find work in 1999.
