THE GORDON HAZELL MEMORIAL GYMNASIUM PROJECT Gordon Hazell was a man with superb qualities. Completely inclusive and tolerant of all people. In his prime the Bristol boxer was ranked the No.3 Middleweight in the World, but you would never hear that from Gordon! On retiring from the ring in 1955 he took his post as PE master at Clifton College a post he held until 1988. BUILDING COMMENCES! Contractors have moved onto POMPHERY HILL, Mangotsfield to commence building the Gordon Hazell memorial gym! Hand over should take place on Christmas Eve 2010! 26/04/10
