We are an informal club aiming to promote ferrets as pets and you are welcome to join us whether yours are purely pets or if you work them too. We also welcome members that do not yet own ferrets but that have an interest in these fascinating animals.
In the short term we aim to contact as many ferret enthusiasts in the area as possible and to arrange social events hold our own ferret shows throughout the year (see upcoming shows page for details of our events and others).
We currently have members from Bristol, Stroud, Gloucester, Weston super Mare, Cardiff, Chepstow, Andover, Devon and Cornwall so try to also cater for ferret enthusiasts outside of the immediate area.
We do charge a small membership fee to join us. Our annual membership fee is £3 for one year for single membership and £6 for one year for family membership. Membership is renewed on 1st September each year so anyone joining from now until July need only pay half fee.
We have regular meetings and additional meetings when necessary. We arrange some ferret included outings during the summer months including camping trips and ferret racing. Many of our members regularly attend ferret shows all over the south west which are great fun (see photos) and you are more than welcome to come along and join us.
